US TOWER & KLM ANTENNAS FOR SALE Hello, I am looking to sell the tower, rotor and KLM antennas as one package, as follows: US TOWER HDX572MDPL Heavy Duty 72-foot motorized tower with positive pull-down, upper and lower limit switches, thrust bearing plus custom-fabricated, installed and welded locking mast tube (to facilitate easy installation and rotor removal if necessary, as well as to provide additional strength), Heavy Duty optional Tiltover Fixture Yaesu G-2800SDX Rotor and controls 24-foot Chrome moly 2"x1/4 mast KLM KT-34XA Tribander KLM KT-34A Tribander KLM 40M4 4-element "world class" 40-mtr beam Includes the base and all hardware, but not the J-rods which are, of course, embedded in concrete.

All antennas are in excellent condition and have been constructed according to strict dimensions prescribed by KLM and have had rivets added to most joints during construction. This helps electrical conductivity and overall strength, and also facilitates very easy take-down and replacement of elements for cleaning, etc., without having to re-measure everything. All three antennas are "dual driven" and offer virtually "NO-TUNE" performance all the way from CW to SSB on all bands with only very few exceptions at the far extremes. In addition, the 40-mtr beam has custom-made side trusses which prevent its 42-foot boom from whipping around in the wind. It's a beautiful thing.

Condition of the tower is excellent, works fine; I bring it up and down quite a bit, depending on the weather. There is some common rusting in the usual places, but nothing serious. It is around five years old. Tower and antennas are completely installed and operating and may be seen and inspected by any serious prospective buyer.

As a point of interest (and to the best of my knowledge), this happens to be the tallest legal amateur tower installation on Long Island, NY (92' to the top of the mast).

Will be happy to assist with take-down, but you must remove, as I will not ship.
